Profile Marco Pedrelli
Born in 1970, he had a long experience working for his family’s business in the commercial distribution of domestic consumer electronics and electric household appliances, both their own brands and those of other companies, where he had responsibilities in the purchase and marketing division, management control and general management. In 1993 he moved to the entertainment market where he invested, among other projects, in Le Cisterne in Palazzo Ducale, a very popular venue located in one of Genoa’s most important historical settings.
In 1994 he took over the American Counturella leisure centre in the heart of the city, which was clearly in crisis, and restored it to peak capacity under the name Tempio della Salute.
In 1998, refining his experience in business restructuring and start-ups, he invested in the Baia degli Angeli, a complex that includes dining, fitness and swimming, and it was here that his friendship with Alessandro Garrone was born.
Pedrelli doesn’t stop: for example, he acquired the historical Mais restaurant and disco bar, which he remodelled as White and started up again with great success; and in 2003, together with Roberto Costa and Alessandro Garrone, he formed the idea of the Maxelâ butchery restaurant, a single brand that would be exported on a national scale.
With ARG he takes care of administration, business research, company logistics and finance.
